Graphic Designer (Part-time)

The Bierkeller is a multi-site hospitality brand with locations in Halifax, Manchester, Liverpool, Nottingham and Birmingham. We’re famous for our long benches, two-pint steins and Bavarian bierhaus buzz!
Inside our venues you’ll find The Bierkeller Lodge, a space for cocktails, food and live music, Shooters Rack ‘n’ Roll, our American-themed sports and games bar, and the heart of our venues, The Bierkeller Hall.
The role

We’re looking for a part-time (3 days a week) Graphic Designer. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will be responsible for supporting our marketing and sales team across digital and print design. 

This is mainly a remote role so candidates can expect to work from home most of the time, with occasional travel to visit sites or have meetings face-to-face, typically travel would be expected around 1-2 times a month. As this is a part time role, we will aim for consistency week to week with your work days (i.e working the same 3 days each week generally, with some room for flexibility), which days depends on the candidates preference. If you have any questions about this please don’t hesitate to include them in your message below. 
  • Designing POS material such as menus and table talkers
  • Designing on-site promotional materials such as posters, murals, vinyls 
  • Executing graphic design requests from sales and marketing team members
  • Designing merch for activations and giveaways 
  • Creating digital designs for marketing such as social media, digital screens, CRM campaigns
  • Creating concepts for large multi-site activations such as Christmas, St Paddy’s, Oktoberfest 


What we’re looking for
Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years experience in a design role
  • Passion for the hospitality industry (from a customer perspective)
  • Experience producing design work for print is essential
  • Comfortable working from briefs
  • Attention to detail, especially when proofing your work
